Veronica Forsythe, MD

Dr. Veronica Forsythe is a native from Nicaragua, who earned her medical degree at the Universidad de Panama in Panama. Following graduation from the medical school, she completed two years of social services as a primary care physician to isolated villagers and tribal communities in the rainforest of Darien, Panama.

Following her dream of becoming a pediatrician, she moved to U.S.A to complete her pediatric internship and residency at Children’s Hospital of the Oklahoma University Health Science Center. During her training, Dr Forsythe earned awards, such as the Outstanding teaching & Pediatric Model Resident and was nominated for the Aesculapian Award by the students. After finishing residency, Dr. Forsythe became the Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at OUHSC, where she was involved in the training of medical students and residents before moving to Dallas. Since 2009 she has been in continuous pediatric practice in Dallas. The part of pediatrics she loves the most is watching children and families grow together overtime. She considers it an honor and a privilege to develop a relationship with each family and to help each child achieve his or her fullest potential.

Dr. Forsythe is a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics, fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (F.A.A.P.) and a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society.

She believes that being a mother of her daughter Elena has made her a better and more understanding pediatrician. Her outside interests include family activities, cooking, baking and photography.
