After graduation she was offered a position as clinical research coordinator at the Center for Liver Disease in the University of Miami, where she was involved in the new treatments for liver illnesses. She continued working in research on a multicenter study of the current children’s rotavirus vaccine (Rotateq-GSK) as one of the principal investigators, publishing an article in the prestigious “Viral immunology” medical magazine in 2007. After 3 years of extra study and multiple tests she transferred her medical degree to United States and specialized in Pediatrics, she was offered a pre-match position at Saint Peter’s Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ where she trained and worked for 3 years, as part of her clinical rotations, Dr. Andrade spent some time at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia ranked the “Best Children’s Hospital in US” for many years. In 2011, she volunteers at a medical mission in rural areas of Guatemala, offering free pediatric care and medications to children in small villages. Also translated a newborn care manual from English to Spanish to be distributed to the Midwives in the same communities.
In 2010 she moved to Texas where she started working in private practice and then was part of Children’s Health pediatric practice for over 6 years. She has special interest for Homeopathic Medicine since 2017 when she was trained at CEDH in Houston, Tx.
Dr. Andrade join the Pediatric Clinic of Garland in 2019 where she provides care to children from 0 to 18 years old with all type of conditions.
Dr. Andrade is devoted to making the world a better place by helping parents raise happy and healthy children.
